Another year and another resolution gone to crap...

Well...never did post another picture. But I sure did have a great vacation. New years Eve we spent withthe "Goebel" party. Every year we get together with friends and relatives to bring in the New Year. We have our traditional "Matysik Trivia". I think this was 9 of the10 years that the women creamed the men. They got a bit cocky during the first round when they were beating us. Well, double the 2nd round points and the women let it rip. We did not want to rub it in to much so the cheering only lasted for 15 minutes this year.

New years Day we traveled to a time share in Ocontomowac. We had fun playing some oard games, swimming, spa-ing and karokee-ing. I was shocked because Andy (Theresa's boyfriend) really stole the show.

During this time Lyle, Larry, Noah, Tony and Theresa decided to form a family singing group. "REALATIVE HARMONY. The intent is to make a CD and sell it with profits going to Relay for Life. You go guys!! You sounded awesome.

The rest of vacation went really fast..and it is back to work. Glad to see everyone. Happy that the semester is nearing the end, and gettng pumped up for the days to get longer.

I Love Vacation!!!

Here it is, December 29th and I am just watching a show about dwarfs. Not much else to do. We are getting ready to go on a little family vacation to Ocontomowac (not sure how to spell that). Just to a time share and swim a bit, sneak into a few movies (it is our tradition to go to the early movie and then sneak int the late one, have not been caught yet!!), play some games and maybe have a few drinks.

Today I went to have lunch with Bergie, KP, Pat and Konen. We missed Sheppard, Sam and Kelly. Although Kelly did stop by and say hi!!! That was nice of her......to give us a few seconds of her vacation. Seriously, we did miss you all!!!!

Well, still gotta get a few pictures to upload....hopefully over vacation!!

Merry Christmas

Do you believe it! It took me 15 minutes to remember my password. Then when I did I was idverted to a blog that I started 2 years ago....in my graduate class. Beleive me, my masters in technology has not done a whole lot for me, besides get me a raise!!!

Christmas was lots of fun with the kids home, and my dad there. It is pretty hard on him not having mom for the first Christmas in 65 years. I can't imagine.

Right now we are at Jody and Lyle's house. We are going to play a game with the gals called True Colors. I hate playing with my sister though...she is as tricky and sneaky as I am.

Well, my goal is to upload a few pictures during vacation and make Kelly Auchue proud!!! I gotta come up with a nickname for her......

Monday, Monday ah,ah, ah, ah....so good to me...

Jeepers, I keep forgetting my login and password. I have to try 3 or 4 combinations of my favorite before I figure it out. I think it keeps my brain young(ya right!!). Today was the first of school after Thanksgiving vacation, and a vacation it was. Yesterday I never got out of my pajamas. Just sat around and had a fire, drank a glass of wine, folded wash and spent the day with Larry and Noah. The Packers lost...that doesn't really bother me. I don't really like them much now that Brett is gone.

After school we went out to celebrate Pat's birthday at Back Yard BBQ. Sam could not make it...we missed her. Just had some snacks and a diet coke.....yum, a diet coke with lemon. Tonight I want to clean out my closet before Prison Break, and then relax again. I have been trying to relax a bit more. Next week maybe I will try to exercise a bit more, for now I will relax.

Another Deer Hunting Season

Well the guys just called and they are coming back from hunting. It is a day early, and I do love to have the house to myself, but it will be nice to have them back. I think hunting is on the down swing for them. Mabe they can get into fishing. I like fish better anyway. Instead of the bunny BBQ we can have the fishy fry.

Next weekend is the play, that will be a busy weekend also. I did buy a few gifts today, and even wrapped some gifts. Getting into the spirit a bit. I remember as a kid we never decorated the tree or went shopping until the last week before Christmas. No wonder my mom was so overwhelmed. I would be nuts.

Gonna watch a movie about Santa right now...and enjoy the last few minutes of peace before they all burst in and bring all the hunting junk back.

Black Friday

Went to the movie "Four Christmases with Jody, Cindy, Susan and Jessica. On a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 6. It had some cute parts, but really...how many families are really like that? I mean...is there really yelling over games at Christmas?? Hmm.....

I went shopping with Theresa for just a bit today. It was a zoo. Everyone trying to get a good deal on Black Friday. I felt guilty not going though, I think I have gone every year since iI was in college.

Gonna go to bed......just geting sleepy.

We just celebrated Thanksgiving at our house. It was very nice, but kind of hard being the first Thanksgiving without mom. I know it was hard on dad. It was nice though to get together, it seems like it has been awhile.

Right now it is almost 3 in the morning. I can not sleep, and I do not want to get up to shop. NO WAY am I going to fight those crowds. Maybe I will get on a few websites and order. I was going to get the kids each a flip video camera.

Tomorrow night I am going to a movie with Jody, Susan and Cindy. Hoping that Theresa joins us. I am going to grab my camera and get a few shots to add. See you then!!!
